Relativity Space is hiring a Linux Storage Software Engineer to own the storage platform software stack for a space-based data center. The role develops custom Linux kernel drivers for NVMe fault recovery and GPIO overcurrent protection, leads ZFS pool topology and reliability modeling, integrates NVMe controller resets with ZFS, and prototypes the architecture on commodity hardware before integration and launch. Candidates need at least five years of Linux kernel driver development experience, storage-system knowledge, and strong OS internals expertise.
