Credit Karma is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own the technical vision and strategy for a domain within its service mesh and edge tier, from design through production and long-term health. The role leads complex system design, establishes engineering best practices, coordinates cross-functional work, and coaches other engineers. Candidates should have experience owning production systems, building in Go, operating large-scale distributed systems, and mentoring engineers; familiarity with service meshes, Kubernetes, Istio, Envoy, or distributed storage is preferred. The expected base pay range is $188,500 to $255,000 in San Diego.
