Description

Airwallex is hiring a Staff Solutions Engineer to own technical pre-sales for complex enterprise payments and financial-product implementations. The role translates customer requirements into scalable architectures, advises on APIs and third-party connectors, troubleshoots integrations, coordinates cross-functional and external stakeholders, and creates documentation and feedback for Product and Engineering. It is based in London with three days in the office and implementation coverage across EMEA.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Finance, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of technical pre-sales experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology or financial services implementations
8+ years of client-facing delivery or professional services experience in a high-paced environment
Proven track record delivering cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical teams, and operations
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with API-based payments integrations or products
Experience managing strategic or enterprise engagements within a broader account team
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment and balance structured methodologies with pragmatic decision-making
