The role owns the technology roadmap, system architecture, AI-driven network management, cloud-native and edge computing integration, security features, simplified enterprise capabilities, intellectual property development, and partnerships with customers, channel partners, universities, and startups. It requires a master's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, 10–15 years of switching software development experience, and 5+ years developing products for SME markets or similar customer segments.
