Description
Shield AI is hiring a Staff Systems Engineer to design, develop, and integrate autonomous aircraft systems for its next-generation UAS program. The role leads system architecture and requirements, defines system behavior and fault responses, supports safety analyses, conducts trade studies, integrates AI-driven autonomy and flight-control systems, and collaborates with hardware, software, propulsion, flight operations, and manufacturing teams. The position requires at least eight years of aerospace, defense, or autonomous aircraft systems engineering experience, MBSE proficiency, flight-testing and system-integration expertise, and experience with developmental programs from clean sheet to first flight.
