Abacus! is hiring a full-time Staff Tax Accountant for its Springfield, Missouri office. The role prepares federal, state, and local tax returns for high-net-worth business owners, supports tax planning and compliance, researches tax issues, prepares workpapers, meets with clients, and collaborates with tax, audit, and accounting teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 1–3 years of tax preparation experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to pass a CJIS background check; experience with UltraTax, QuickBooks, and AdvanceFlow is preferred.
