Okta is hiring a Staff Technical Writer in Bengaluru to lead documentation for major product launches across developer APIs, SDKs, CLI, Terraform, and admin/product guides. The role collaborates with engineering, product, QA, support, and information development teams; creates and validates technical content; improves documentation processes; and uses generative AI tools. It requires at least seven years of cloud or enterprise product documentation experience, knowledge of DITA, Markdown, OpenAPI, and API publishing platforms, and a degree or equivalent experience in a related technical field. The position is hybrid with at least two onsite days per week and requires in-person onboarding and a final-round meeting at the Bengaluru office.
