Description
Wabtec is hiring a Staff Test Engineer to support IST Engineering in designing, developing, and facilitating high-quality integration test procedures and enhancing the solution development lifecycle. The role involves validating testing hardware and software against system and interface requirements, developing IST plans and automation tools, maintaining test procedures and execution results, managing defects and test artifacts, conducting peer reviews, and contributing to project estimation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 7–10 years of software testing, verification, and validation experience, along with experience in test automation, scripting, systems design, and integration testing. Occasional domestic and international travel of up to 10% may be required, and relocation assistance may be provided.
