Description
The Staffing Coordinator creates and maintains monthly CNA schedules in a long-term care facility, ensuring all shifts are covered in compliance with applicable laws and the collective bargaining agreement. The role manages time-off, new-hire, termination, holiday, call-off, tardiness, overtime, attendance, assignment, and staffing-hour records; coordinates with nursing and human resources leadership; is on-call for staffing changes; and may work as a floor CNA when coverage cannot otherwise be found. The position requires Illinois CNA certification, CPR certification, English communication skills, basic Microsoft Office knowledge, and the ability to multitask and solve staffing problems. It involves regular sitting, standing, bending, walking, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
