The Direct Care Worker provides non-medical personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for sick and disabled consumers in the home. Duties include bathing, grooming, transfers, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication assistance, transportation to medical appointments, documentation, and reporting changes in condition. The role requires high school graduation, the ability to read, write, and follow directions, and good verbal and written communication skills.
