Description
Molex is hiring a Stamping Simulation Engineer in Chengdu, Sichuan, to support predictive manufacturing for connector and terminal products. The role uses sheet metal stamping simulation software, 3D CAD, and structural FEA to identify stamping problems, validate terminal designs, develop progressive die tooling, analyze material and correlational data, and establish simulation best practices. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, experience with CAD and FEA software, and knowledge of metal properties; a master’s or PhD and progressive die stamping experience are preferred.
