Security Level 5 is hiring an AI Security Standards Engineer to research open questions behind security controls, draft and maintain control text and overlay content, and support the Standards Lead in stakeholder engagement. The role requires security research or standards experience, the ability to read and synthesize primary sources, and clear writing under editorial pressure. It is based in the Bay Area in person, with a base salary of $140,000-$200,000 USD per year and full benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, and a 401k match.
