Description
The Startup Manager leads safety, quality, schedule, commissioning, staffing, material control, and field-based procurement activities for startup and commissioning on construction projects. The role plans and directs pre-commissioning testing, develops startup schedules, coordinates startup staff, oversees equipment and system checkout, and reviews design changes. It requires strong organization, communication, decision-making, troubleshooting, equipment-operation, LOTO, hazardous-materials, and Microsoft Office skills, with experience requirements of 5–10, 10–15, or 15+ years depending on the step.
