Description
The Startup Technician supports the startup and commissioning of new commercial HVAC systems under the guidance of a Startup Supervisor and senior technicians. Responsibilities include basic system checks, performance verification, control-system setup, equipment testing, troubleshooting, documentation, project-log maintenance, and communication with project leadership and customers. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years of HVAC experience, EPA Universal or Type II certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read mechanical and wiring diagrams; experience with VRF systems, rooftop units, or chillers is a plus.
