The role focuses on occupational-therapy assessments, planning, and delivery; goal-oriented equine-assisted interventions in individual and group settings; designing occupation-based therapy programs; safely guiding clients in handling horses and ponies; supporting clients in everyday farm activities; collaborating with families and partners; and documenting therapy progress.
