Description
The State Inspector examines motor vehicles to ensure compliance with state highway and emission requirements, performs multi-point inspections, checks mechanical and electrical systems, approves or denies inspections, issues stickers, advises service staff, maintains inspection records, and performs basic oil and fluid checks. The role requires a current and valid State Vehicle Inspector license, a valid driver’s license, automotive repair and maintenance knowledge, communication skills, customer focus, and willingness to work Saturdays; it also involves prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and occasional lifting.
