The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring safe equipment operation, performing inspections and preventive maintenance, adjusting stationary equipment, tracking service calls and spare parts, and maintaining records. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, four years of related experience, a Stationary Engineer license with certification, and experience with building automation, pneumatic and electronic controls, and a broad range of industrial systems. The position is typically performed in a loud factory environment and may involve hazardous materials, electrical shock, and confined spaces.
