Description
The Steerman controls the rear axles of large or articulated vehicles to keep oversized and heavy haul loads aligned during transit, navigates complex routes, communicates with truck drivers, manages traffic, and may assist with loading, roadside inspections, and minor repairs. The role requires a Class A CDL, at least five years of driving experience, at least three years of oversize heavy haul experience, axle-weight-distribution experience, a clean MVR, load-securement capabilities, and flexibility to travel, including weekends and overnight stays.
