Description
The Sterile Processing Technician decontaminates, inspects, assembles, sterilizes, packages, distributes, and maintains documentation for surgical instruments, implants, supplies, and equipment throughout UCSF Medical Center. The role also prepares surgical case carts, coordinates supplies with operating room staff, maintains sterile inventory, and assists in training other technicians. It requires a high school diploma or GED, current CRCST, IAHCSMM, or CBSPD certification, at least one year of sterile processing experience, and the ability to work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
