Description
The Central Sterile Processing Technician decontaminates, sorts, inspects, tests, assembles, and sterilizes instruments, equipment, trays, and other healthcare items; assembles case, crash, and emergency carts; and restocks supplies and notifies personnel of low or out-of-stock items. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, English-language proficiency, an accredited Central Services Processing program or six months of equivalent experience, and CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification within 12 months of hire.
