Description
The Sterile Processing Department Technician II processes, decontaminates, sterilizes, packages, stores, distributes, and documents medical instruments and equipment used in patient-care areas. The role also handles patient-care equipment delivery, inventory control, equipment operation, infection-control standards, and training support. It requires an H.S. diploma or equivalent, two years of hospital or acute-care surgical experience, and a CSPDT, CST, or CRCST certification. The position is an 8-hour rotating shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekend shifts as needed, and pays $25.00 to $33.48 per hour.
