Description
The Central Sterile Processing Technician decontaminates and reprocesses in-house prepared sterile supplies, issues and tracks patient-care equipment, and maintains and transports equipment to support quality patient care. The role offers rotating Monday-Friday shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, and provides a $2,000 sign-on/retention bonus for full-time employment or a $1,000 bonus for part-time employment. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, must pass a nationally accredited central service exam and maintain certification, complete applicable clearances within 90 days, and complete 10 hours of continuing education annually; prior Central Sterile Processing experience is preferred.
