Description
Under indirect supervision, this role supports central sterile/distribution operations for inpatient and clinic departments by decontaminating, assembling, wrapping, sterilizing, storing, and issuing instruments, trays, equipment, and supplies. The position also manages specialty surgical instruments, assists operating room staff with equipment and turnover preparation, maintains inventory and supply carts, tracks sterilization logs and indicators, handles specimen and blood transport tasks, and follows strict infection control, safety, and quality assurance procedures.
