Description
The Central Sterile Processing Technician supports the Roy Himelfarb Surgery Center by processing, cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, storing, and distributing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for specialty service lines. The role coordinates with supervisors, operating room RN coordinators, materials management, and perioperative nursing staff; operates sterilization and related equipment; maintains quality and infection-control standards; and may serve as a lead or charge technician. The position is full-time, day-shift, 80 hours biweekly, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends or major holidays.
