Description
The Central Sterile Processing Technician decontaminates and reprocesses in-house prepared sterile supplies, issues and tracks patient-care equipment, and maintains and transports equipment to support quality patient care. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of applicable clearances, and for newly hired technicians, passing a nationally accredited central service exam within 18 months and completing 10 hours of continuing education annually. Central Sterile Processing experience is preferred, and the position offers a $2,000 sign-on/retention bonus for full-time employment or a $1,000 bonus for part-time employment.
