Region Skåne is hiring one permanent Sterile Processing Technician for the sterile processing unit at Central Hospital Kristianstad. The role involves washing, disinfecting, inspecting, checking, packing, autoclaving, storing, and dispatching surgical instruments, as well as maintaining equipment and work processes. The position offers varied day, evening, and weekend work, with an introduction tailored to the applicant’s prior knowledge and experience. Applicants need higher vocational training in sterile processing, Swedish language skills at C1 or above, computer proficiency, and awareness of accuracy and patient safety; prior experience in similar operations, high-hygiene workplaces, ordering and inventory, or the T-doc system is advantageous.
