Description
The Sterile Processing Technician prepares instruments and equipment for procedures and surgeries, operates sterilizing and decontamination units, and handles instrument processing, distribution, inventory, equipment, and record-keeping functions. The role is full-time, evening, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, and pays $38.43 to $41.46 per hour. A high school diploma or GED is required, while two years of sterile processing experience and CRCST, HSPA, or CBSPD certification are preferred.
