Mayo Clinic is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician to support operating-room and procedural teams by decontaminating, assembling, inspecting, packaging, sterilizing, storing, and distributing reusable instruments and equipment. The role includes a 16-week SPD 101 training program followed by a four-week externship, with permanent evening or night shifts and rotating weekend and holiday call. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, basic computer knowledge, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and either successful completion of the program, one year of instrumentation experience, or a full Central Service Technician certification.
