Description
The Sterilization Control sterilizes surgical instruments and supplies, wraps and stores them, distributes supplies and equipment, cleans rooms, assembles sterile and nonsterile equipment, checks equipment function, monitors recovery rooms, changes gauze, provides post-operative instructions, and escorts patients. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior experience preferred, current CPR certification, knowledge of sterile technique, and strong communication skills. The pay range is $15.48-$20.04.
