Description
The Steward supports the Lead Steward and Steward Supervisor by cleaning, sanitizing, transporting, storing, and stocking dishware, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and smallwares in restaurant, bar, kitchen, and service-station areas. The role also handles trash removal, equipment care, inventory assistance, emergency procedures, chemical safety, and HACCP compliance. It requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of food-service experience in a dishwasher, pot-washer, or similar role, Serve Safe certification, an Indiana Horse Racing Commission License, English communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
