Description
The Steward supports the Head Steward aboard Training Support Vessels by preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals for crew and embarked personnel, maintaining galley and messing cleanliness, managing crockery and food-service equipment, removing waste, organizing provisions, and following U.S. Coast Guard and contract food-safety procedures. The role requires a Merchant Mariner Credential endorsed for the Steward’s Department and Food Handler, STCW-compliant training, a Transportation Worker Identification Credential, a United States Passport, physical and medical standards for shipboard service, and legal authorization to work in the United States.
