Description
The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for organizing cleaning chemicals and supplies, rotating kitchen stock, completing cleaning checklists, collecting and transporting dirty pans, maintaining sanitation and loading-dock areas, operating dishwashing and other cleaning equipment, and ensuring proper ware storage. The role also assists with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees; follows safety and security procedures; and maintains professional appearance and confidentiality. A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and at least one year of related work experience are preferred, while supervisory experience and a license or certification are not required.
