Description
The Stewarding Manager supervises and coordinates hourly stewarding staff under the Executive Chef, managing scheduling, inventory controls, labor forecasting, payroll, training, safety, sanitation, equipment maintenance, vendor pricing, and the cleanliness of kitchen and facility areas. The role also coordinates offsite catering events and maintains control of china, glassware, and silverware. It requires five years of hospitality leadership experience, bilingual English and Spanish ability, computer and labor-forecasting knowledge, collective-bargaining experience, financial responsibility, a Class C driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds; hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
