Description
The Store Clerk supports daily grocery store operations by operating the cash register, handling payments, stocking grocery and perishable products, unloading deliveries, maintaining product rotation and displays, cleaning the store, retrieving carts, assisting with fresh meat and produce, and providing courteous customer service. The role also helps train team members and follows company safety, cash-handling, uniform, and operating procedures. It requires basic math and computer skills, communication, teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to repeatedly lift 20–50 pounds, occasionally 50–80 pounds, and work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions.
