Mynaric is hiring a Strategic Buyer to own sourcing strategy for mechanical components, precision manufacturing, and passive optics. The role covers category sourcing, supplier development, cost and risk analysis, RFQs, commercial negotiations, supplier qualification, alternative sourcing, and production transfers, with cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance. Candidates should have a relevant engineering or supply-chain degree, substantial strategic purchasing or industrial sourcing experience, and expertise in precision manufacturing, CNC machining, or optics.
