Lam is hiring a Strategic Commodity Manager to manage industry suppliers and develop commodity strategies for the metal machining commodity. The role includes supplier negotiations, performance benchmarking, preferred-supplier-base development, cross-functional collaboration with product, manufacturing, quality, procurement, finance, and product support teams, and early supplier involvement in new product design. Candidates need at least 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience under alternative education requirements, along with supply chain, operations, or production-planning experience. The role offers hybrid work arrangements, including On-site Flex and Virtual Flex.
