Description
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist – OEM develops and executes sourcing strategies for equipment and services used in BW Packaging Systems Automation and Integration projects. The role partners with Applications, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and Field Service; negotiates supplier contracts; manages purchase orders and ERP workflows; monitors supplier performance, quality, lead times, margins, and supply schedules; and supports continuous improvement and corrective actions. The position is based in Romeoville, Illinois; Lynchburg, Virginia; or Akron, Ohio, with up to 20% travel to OEM manufacturing sites, BW facilities, and client sites. A bachelor's degree, five years of purchasing or strategic sourcing experience, MRP and supply chain knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Access are required.
