Description
The Strategic Purchasing Manager will purchase complex technical assemblies and parts, analyze national and international procurement markets, evaluate quotations, interpret drawings and manufacturing processes, develop purchasing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, draft contracts, process orders, and manage supplier relationships. The role can be filled in Kiel or Kassel and requires a degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, or a comparable qualification, relevant strategic purchasing experience, knowledge of purchasing law and procurement processes, and excellent German and English skills. Machine or automotive engineering knowledge, SAP MM, and occasional travel are advantageous.
