Description
Assystem is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Derby for a hybrid role requiring 3–4 days per week on site. The position produces design and manufacturing documentation for mechanical equipment and structural supports, performs pressure-vessel and structural calculations, creates engineering drawings, prepares equipment specifications, and presents designs at technical reviews. The role requires knowledge of ASME, EN13445, Eurocode 3, BS EN 1090, and EN13001, familiarity with steelwork and tolerances, ability to complete stress-analysis reporting, and experience with CE or UKCA marking. CAD, FEA, and supplier collaboration are also relevant.
