Description

The role is a senior aircraft structures engineering position responsible for developing and substantiating stress data, FAA certification data, repair and modification analyses, finite-element models, test procedures, and engineering reports. The engineer will independently review and approve work from other engineering groups, mentor junior engineers, support production manufacturing and installation, and contribute to program administration. The position requires a BS degree in engineering or a related scientific field, 10 years of industry experience, at least five years of SolidWorks or comparable CAD experience, FAA certification knowledge, and extensive aircraft technical-data knowledge; a master’s degree and DER or ODA engineering-UM candidacy are preferred. The work is primarily office-based but may involve occasional industrial environments and airplane handling.
