Description
The Stroke Program Coordinator is an experienced registered nurse who oversees care for stroke patients, supports compliance with The Joint Commission and other accreditation standards, and performs data collection, analysis, quality improvement, patient satisfaction initiatives, community outreach, patient education, and follow-up. The role collaborates with staff and physicians to coordinate care and requires at least five years of RN experience, a BSN, an Illinois RN license, NIHSS certification, previous stroke experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
