ALTEN UK is hiring a Structural Analysis Engineer to contribute to the detailed design and assessment of safety-critical building and infrastructure structures. The role involves structural calculations, technical documentation, finite-element modelling with ANSYS APDL, soil–structure interaction and seismic analysis, reinforced-concrete checks, and collaboration with civil, structural, and geotechnical teams. Candidates need structural, civil, or mechanical analysis experience, familiarity with finite-element analysis, ANSYS APDL or similar tools, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent military experience. The position offers private medical insurance, flexible working, and may require security clearance.
