Apex Engineering Group is hiring a Structural-Bridge Engineer to work on bridge and structural projects from the preliminary phase through design and construction. The role involves independent calculations, analysis, design, specifications, reports, plan assembly, design checking, technical proposals, and collaboration with technicians and multidisciplinary teams. The position is based in Bismarck, North Dakota, with flexible Apex-office locations and a preferred Minnetonka office, and requires in-person attendance at key client and project meetings. A bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering and at least two years of bridge engineering experience are required; transportation-project experience in Minnesota and North Dakota and in-service bridge inspection experience are preferred. The role offers a $32–$40 hourly base pay range and health, dental, and vision insurance among other benefits.
