Thomas & Hutton is hiring a Structural Bridge Engineer (PE) in Charleston, South Carolina to perform structural analysis and design, create construction documents, assess existing structures, coordinate with engineers and clients, and provide construction services. The role focuses on concrete and structural steel for bridges, wharves, piers, drainage, water-control, retaining-wall, and other structures, and requires at least five years of structural design experience including bridges, a civil engineering degree with a structural emphasis, and US PE licensure. The schedule is on-site Monday through Thursday and Friday mornings, with periodic travel to other offices; sponsorship is not available.
