Description
HDR is seeking a Structural Coordinator / Engineer in Training (EIT) for its Building Engineering Services Group, with placement at an office in Kentucky or Tennessee. The role supports structural design for data centers, retrofits, colocations, and water-bearing structures; performs structural analysis, develops design options, prepares estimates and specifications, assists with site visits, and conducts construction observations. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, proficiency with structural design software such as AutoCAD, RISA, STAAD, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, or SAFE, and knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, structural systems, and relevant design codes. A master's degree, EIT certificate, and prior design experience are preferred.
