Description
Brock Grain Systems, a division of CTB, Inc., is hiring a Structural Design Engineer to design and develop large, multi-story agricultural grain storage, handling, conditioning, and equipment structures. The role involves structural evaluations, steel design, FMEA, prototype construction and field testing, regulatory compliance, production drawing release, and cross-functional communication with manufacturing, supply, and sales teams. It requires a bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, at least five years of structural engineering experience in agricultural or mechanical industries, proficiency with AutoCAD or other 3D design software and 3D structural analysis software, strong communication and project planning skills, and the ability to climb up to 150 feet on catwalks and grain bins. The position is primarily office-based with customer and manufacturing site visits, up to 25% travel, and a typical 45-hour Monday-Friday work week.
