Description
The Structural Engineer will participate in the technical development of schematic design, design development, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration for institutional and commercial building projects. Responsibilities include structural design of foundations, floors, roofs, and lateral resistance systems; preparing coordinated construction documents; communicating with architects, owners, consultants, vendors, and building officials; reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs; and traveling nationally for site visits and meetings. The role requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering, proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit, and willingness to work extra hours when necessary.
