TKDA is hiring a Structural Designer, also referred to internally as an Engineering Specialist, to support the drafting and design of mechanical system projects for heavy industrial plant and building systems. The role includes preparing construction documents, performing basic mechanical calculations, completing redline revisions, interpreting architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans, and assisting with project coordination. The position is based in Duluth or Bloomington, Minnesota, with a typical three-days-in-office, two-days-remote hybrid arrangement and occasional travel. Candidates need an associate degree in a relevant field, at least four years of progressive structural drafting and modeling experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. The Bloomington base salary range is $70,000 to $82,000.
