The role designs standard and custom steel containers for electrical engineering systems, performs structural calculations and component sizing, creates Inventor and AutoCAD models, prepares documentation, and coordinates with customers and internal specialist departments. Applicants need a mechanical or plant engineering degree or technician qualification, experience in steel or plant engineering design, knowledge of structural calculations and welded connections, and experience in switchgear engineering or steel construction under DIN EN 1090.
