Structural Designer – Timber & Wood Framing at DC Structures and DC Builders

DC Structures is hiring a full-time Structural Designer – Timber & Wood Framing to develop detailed 3D structural models and construction documents for custom wood-framed and heavy timber buildings. The role uses Revit and/or Cadwork to model framing systems, resolve design conflicts, coordinate with architects, engineers, fabrication, and construction teams, and produce shop drawings, framing plans, cut sheets, and material takeoffs. The position requires experience with structural or BIM design, wood framing, CAD, and construction documentation, along with strong spatial reasoning, organization, and communication skills.
